Bump is notorious for stretching and distorting - if you can, try and lay it out carefully, cut it then leave it to 'rest' overnight to go back to shape before you use it in curtains. As for the customer pressure - perhaps you can politely remind her that she is paying you for high quality, handmade curtains which by their nature cannot be rushed. I know it is hard but you want to deliver a finished product you are proud of......
