charging - itemised bill

I've recently experienced having a customer accept an estimate, then when I billed just over the estimate she was shocked at total cost. Feedback I received was that it seemed a very high price to pay for a few items. I often itemise right down to the weights and pin hooks so I can't see what there is to query. I was wondering if good practice to itemise in this way. Also I gave her a very good price on materials and wanted her to see that. Perhaps it is just a case of someone wanting something for nothing. I've been in business 1 year now and I am still finding issue with charging. There is such a wide variance on charging when you look at other companies on the net and it is hard to find pricing information from local companies offering same service. Are any of you long timers with bags of experience willing to share some pricing info? it would be greatly appreciated. The above is for curtains/blinds/cushions. I want to get pricing right for loose covers and I'm finding the same, the wide price differences between different companies for same finish.
