I have read lots about atttaching interlining to main fabric inlcuding the posts on here. I apprecite needing the holding stitches every half width but sometimes I feel that the holding stitches, even when vey loose, could pull on very fine fabric. If someone pulls the curtain closed but only holds the face fabric they could pull those catching stitches so that a pucker is left in face fabric. If they are your own curtains then you will look after them, but I get to do quite a few holiday homes and wonder how the holding stitches in interlining will stand up to holiday makers.
