Hi Louise, I would do 2.50-3 times fullness. They look good when drawn but tend to bunch up when pulled back.You could try 24cm pleats and 12cm spaces,press flat and put in tiny stitches to secure. put the pin hook in the middle of the back flap, I always prefer to see the curtain covering the pole so you would probably need to set the hook down 6 cms. Hope this helps.
