Thanks for your reply Enid, it does raise some other questions that I hope you may answer! I normally line my curtains using the "bag" method, in other words sewing the lining to the fabric, doing the heading tape, then lastly the hem. Are you saying that I should secure the interlining to the fabric and then do the hem, then the sides, then add the lining? Sorry to sound so green but I don't know what lockstitching is, is this like long tacking stitches or do you mean using an overlocker? Thanks for your help. Paula
