Hi there We have found that ceiling spots are a great solution, provided you fit enough to ensure coverage throughout the room. They provide wide angled consistent lighting across the length and width of your workroom, unlike central fittings. Unfortunately these are difficult to install retrospectively as they are encased in the ceiling and the wires need to run between the lights. A good alternative is therefore a multi spot light which has, for example 4 spots which can be angled to suit. Do ensure that you have a high wattage spot bulb though, as 20W bulbs provide little light. Hope this helps
