You could make a roman blind with an arched top (make a paper template from the arch itself) The arched section at the top would not pleat up though. Then you could close the blind at night. For curtains you would need a fixed heading to cover the arch - then tiebacks, hold backs or italian stringing to 'open' the curtains in the day. Merrick & Day supply a track for arches http://www.merrick-day.com/acatalog/PVC_Arched_Window_Track.html and I believe Silent Gliss have a track that can be bent with velcro already attached - Velcrorail Silent Gliss (2116). If you can get hold of a copy of Merrick & Day Encyclopaedia of Curtains is has a section on arched windows.
