Yes, they do include calculations - as a guide, work out fabric for a normal blind and how many folds you will have. Then add at least 5cm to the drop for each space between rods (for the extra fullness). You also need some extra materials - they recommend 12mm cotton tape, at least 1.2 times the drop of the blind for each cord position. This fixes the blind drop to force the folds in the fabric. The Ebooks from the site are good - I have the bundle covering blinds, curtains, top treatments etc. but you can just buy the blinds one.
